Dr Katz Bio


Michael Katz, MD, MS is a professional disability evaluator for the Georgia Office of Disability Adjudication Services as well as for military veterans referred to him on behalf of the Veterans Health Administration.

He completed his Post Doctoral Year in Internal Medicine at The University of Texas at Houston Health Sciences Center.  This included clinical training at University of Texas at Houston – School of Medicine, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Lyndon Baines Johnson General Hospital, Memorial Hermann Hospital and St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital.

Dr. Katz holds his MD and MS in Biomedical Sciences from The American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, St. Martin, N.A.

He began his academic career at The American University in Washington, DC, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA).

He lives in Atlanta, GA and enjoys reading, acoustic music, oil painting and physical fitness.  He is an avid fan of professional soccer and proudly supports the US Men’s & Women’s National Teams.
